Digital Radiography & Ultrasound

Digital Radiography, or X-ray, is one of the most valuable medical diagnostic tools. X-rays are highly useful for screening areas of the body that have contrasting tissue densities, or when evaluating solid tissues. X-rays can be used to detect a variety of ailments in animals and are also used to evaluate bone damage, the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract, genitourinary system, organ integrity, and even identify foreign objects that may have been ingested. Ultrasonography is another diagnostic tool that helps to visualize problems within the organs, that could be missed with X-Ray alone. When indicated, we will send the images to a board-certified veterinary radiologist for review.

We Test For:

  • Arthritis
  • Bone fractures and damage
  • Tumors
  • Bladder stones
  • Kidney stones
  • Heart enlargement
  • Lung abnormalities
  • Intestinal blockage
  • Organ enlargement
