“I was born and raised in Western, NY. I moved to Tennessee about 5 years ago and absolutely love it! I went to school at Houghton College, receiving a bachelors degree in Intercultural Studies. While in school, I studied abroad in Tanzania for a semester! It was the best experience of my life, with some of the best stories! Some of my favorite hobbies include; hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, photography, learning about other cultures, and anything that includes my fur babies or fosters! I currently have two fur babies, Copper & Fievel, to keep me busy at home. Since I was 3 years old, I knew I wanted to work with animals. Finding this passion, I pursued veterinary medicine, knowing I would always love my job! I also am a ICU technician at the Animal Emergency Center in Knoxville, with plans to continue my education in veterinary medicine within the next year or two!”
"I came to Tennessee to finish school at UT, majoring in animal science before I apply to their vet school--go Vols! My passion is equine sports medicine which is only fueled by my own riding. I have a horse, Mateo, whom I compete in events with. In my free time I'm a runner and I love to go backpacking with my dog, Kujo.”
